1) Open the Windows® Start menu and click on SecurDat to start SecurDat. Create a list of directories which you want to monitor (e.g. your data directory). Configure the options according to your needs.

2) Start SecurTray (either from the Windows® Start menu, or from Securdat with the
icon). When SecurTray is loaded, it monitors the previously configured directories and makes backups of files when these files are changed; SecurTray is displayed as an eye icon
in the system tray. Rightclicking on this icon will display a popup menu, where you can choose from several options.
You don't need to restart SecurTray when you have changed the directory list while SecurTray is loaded (SecurTray knows when the directory list has been changed and resets its monitoring accordingly).
If you want SecurTray to be started automatically on every Windows® start, then activate this option in SecurDat/Global options.
