Enter the relevant project or source file types into the 'Only these files' list, or exclude the files which can be restored from the source text files (e.g. DCU files in Delphi) as well as the backup files (~?? files in Delphi). Activate the Autostart option for SecurTray. Activate the 'Save all files together' option. Use Folder Number Variables.

| · | Student writing dissertation: Set up your programs to save all their data files into a single common directory. If you use your computer also for other purposes besides your dissertation, then create a shortcut to SecurTray on your desktop.

| · | Government office employee: If your computer is part of a Windows® network, you can setup your backup directory on the network server. This backup directory then can be used also by other employees which use SecurTray on their local workstation computer. This has the additional advantage of increased data safety, because the backup data are separated from the workstations. The network administrator moreover may restrict access rights, so no other applications or only defined applications can access the backup directory.
