... Excude files from backup

You can exclude any file or file type from backup in this way:

An application program saves not only the desired files in your data directory but perhaps also temporary files and auxiliary files which you don't need to backup and which would only waste space in your backup directory and would needlessly keep SecurTray busy. You can exclude these file types from being monitored by SecurTray in the Properties dialog, either by

·explicitly including only specific file types (Only these files: field); this automatically excludes other file types,  
or
·excluding specific file types (Exclude these files: field).  
(Of course in Securdat you can configure these file types for every folder of the SecurDat folder list separately, the same way as with all other folder properties).

Beyond it you can globally exclude file types in the Global options dialog; these file types will be ignored in all folders of the SecurDat folder list.
