Clipboard

The clipboard on your computer is like an invisible temporary storage area. When you copy or cut something, like a piece of text or an image, it gets stored in this clipboard. Then, when you paste, the computer takes that copied information from the clipboard and puts it where you want it to go. The clipboard holds this copied information until you decide to copy or cut something else, which then replaces the old copied information.
